Radon meter

AlphaGuard

The device measures the radon concentration in the ambient air of the measuring station, i.e. in the former excavation pit outside the darmstadtium. Displacements along active disturbances cause pathways which favour the rise of soil gases and can temporarily lead to increased radon concentrations. A weather station is operated in parallel to interpret the measured values. This station continuously records temperature, air pressure and humidity. Within the darmstadtium, the radon concentration in the indoor air is below the EU limit value.
